Wondering how good/bad this line is? Villian is from what I know a fairly decent player. I picked up AK against him a little earlier and 3 bet his PF raise and he folded. I don't have PT stats but I would figure from playing with him he would have a VPIP in the mid-high teens, a fairly tight str8foward player. I've also been a little active in the last few hands usually being the aggressor PF.

Hero has $48.10 and villian covers.

UTG player limps villian raises to $2.25 I smooth call OTB with , blinds and limper folds.

Flop: ....... Villian bets $4 into a $5-sh pot (minus rake IIRC it was around 5.5)and I call

Turn: .......... Villian leads again for 5 into a $13 pot ( I was considering raising here any comments welcome on that) and I smooth call.

River: ........ Villian checks I bet $15 into a $22-23ish pot.


Questions:
1. While I generally will 3 bet AK PF I don't neccessarily do it all the time. Is this a bad line to take when in position?
2. Thoughts on making a turn raise with TPTK and a 4 flush

Also any comments and or additional thoughts appreciated

2. I would raise the flop since you have been playing aggressively. He might think you are weaker than you are and decide to reraise with KQ or KJ or K10 or QQ. I would try and build the pot so you can get your money in on the turn.

I think you need to raise that flop, you generally would with the nut flush draw right?

PF is fine.

I wouldn't mind raising the turn either, although I doubt you're getting much action.

I flat call with QQ-AA, AK, AQ occasionally, especially in position. I think that reraising is best though, since you are likely ahead and many hands that you are behind will not be able to continue preflop (small pocket pairs) or postflop (if he calls with a small/mid pair).

So the standard play would be to reraise preflop and on this board, try to get it in. As played preflop (which is fine), the flop or turn should be raised. I would prefer raising the flop. I don't hate the passive play though if villain is aggro and capable to fire 3 barrels (although that doesn't look like its the case here)
