2 philosphical questions.....

Postby Pok 7's » Tue Oct 23, 2007 11:03 am

These were presented somewhere else but are kinda wierd to think about. Since we have some pretty good minds (as well as some warped ones) figured they might make for interesting discussions.

#1. If you were given the opportunity to know the exact day, date, and time of your last day on earth (could be years from now or as early as a few days) would you want to know? And would knowing affect people in such a way it would radically change their life?

#2. Lets say, you are married to the most wonderful person, are deeply in love, and have had many children over the years, all of who are grown now. This person "truly" completes you.

But unbeknowest to the both of you, but only discovered through chance DNA testing, you are informed that the person you have been married too and been having sex and children with all these years was actually your brother/sister, that had been given up for adoption, to neither of your knowledge. Just that one of you knew that you were adopted, but didn't know you had a sibling.

It was only through circumstances beyond your control, that you met and fell in love.

Would you continue the relationship? After all, neither of you were aware that you were brother/sister when you met, married, and had children.
