Hand 1 his turn bet smells fishy, you generally should raise and fold if he goes over the top, but letting him possibly draw cheaply can be a big mistake especially if he has a ATd hand with lots of outs. The play from here depends a lot on your info on the player.

Hand 2 is a very weak fold in my opinion. You are getting 4.5:1 on your call and have likely 10 outs (7, QQQ, 555, 333) to beat a flush. That's an auto call.

Hand 1 - I agree to raise the turn. Getting him to commit more money when he can still hit outs to win is easier than trying to get money on the river

Hand 2 - Folding that turn makes baby jesus cry  Even if you are behind, he is giving you great odds to catch up and if you do, he could be dumb enough to call off the rest of his chips.
