I had a good session but these two hands I'm not sure I like. So flame away (particularly at the second hand).

Reads: first hand villian sat with 80 earlier and lost his stack to me when I bet QJ on QJ6 two club board and he moved in with K4cc (called a preflop raise with that FWIW). Then he won some if it back when I raised PF with JJ and check-folded to him on an Ace-high flop. He claimed to have a set.

Second hand the guy is pretty much a calling station and he doesn't like to fold.

Im pretty sure there is a short handed forum of its own. But anyway, Ill comment on the hands.

Hand #1 I would have bet closer to the pot on the flop. I dont like the push on the turn, you said he was a calling station. If he doesn't like to fold there is no equity in that, your betting his stack $105.60 to win $88.

#2 I like your play throughout this hand

Couple of quick notes before I go to bed...you misread what I said, the second guy is a calling station not the first. And also, I am aware of the short-handed forum but this forum is a lot more active and I don't think the mods mind too much if I post 6-max hands here since strategy shouldn't be all that different in isolated hands (although as a whole obviously strategy changes a lot).

Hand #1 he has AQ and isn't folding either way. I like the push because you have a ton of outs and are probably 60/40 to win, unless he has AK, in which case you really need a spade. I think you lost to AQ though. But I'm fine with gambling in this spot.

Hand #2 if he is a calling station he will probably call $200, or even reraise all in if he holds two pair. This is a case where I think thoughts like if they will call 100 they will call 200, but 100 is the safer value bet to get called. All-in yourself here isn't a bad idea, if you know he can't let go of top pair. I really like to pound when I hit a gutshot, and usually start trying to stack off with turn bet being sometimes over sized to the pot against a station. It is fairly interesting to note that big all-ins at 2/4 tend to get called more at the turn in the games I've played than at lower stakes. I do not know why this is, but I get called all in preflop with AA more up there, maybe they figure no one would waste AA like that.
