I am curious as well to why you called the min raise if you were gonna fold on the turn after hitting you hand.

If you think he has a set, then fold the flop. Ive never seen a rock min raise the flop with a straight draw. I put him on KQ or maybe KT and CRAI.

If he's a total rock and always has the goods then I don't see how the A made him a straight.

If he's capable of minraising QJ here, why can't he have KT, KQ, etc?

I think your read of a total rock on this guy is a bit off, I have played with him a fair bit and he does at times play his draws very aggressively.
