[5s] to $8 from the SB. The BB who is of the weak/passive variety calls. He started the hand with $80.

Checking it down sounds good, since he is passive he is unlikely to bet/bluff a flush or straight draw and you are not getting top or second pair to fold since its cake.

I think I like Triple B's $25 bet here. You will almost never showdown here if your plan is to check it down, so basically you're giving up on the hand, which is fine too.

preflop I either fold or raise to about $6 if I have post-flop reads on him. (raise less cos he's a shortie b*sterd)
