Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

"The one who lives better is not the one who has the most, but the one who needs less..."

Having high standards is probably a blessing but it could be a curse. I think about this a lot. It seems to me that people with high standards appreciate those little, reduced things a lot more than what standard taste people do all the random things they seem to love (ie. taggin ugly women, eating crappy food, listening to 29873498 awful music bands, etc). I think when people with high standards eat some food they love, tag some women they like, or listen to the small selection of music they enjoy, the experience is a lot more strong than for those who require not so much...it's a theory i prolly created to make myself believe high standards is not a curse....There are 10s of Clancys, Allendes, Kings, Coehlos, Forsyths, etc, but there are not many Dostoievskis, Shakespeares, Saramagos, Wildes or Poes...:D. If you really enjoyed your Kings' be happy, cause there's like 274289472like it. You are a blessed man.

I've always had very high standards in practically everything. I think we miss a lot of things because of that, but, on the other hand, we reject/dontcare about those things, so we are not really missing anything.

I spent a whole day with my two best friends in an all-inclusive hotel. A couple hours after we got there we were drunk and talking random shit. The thing is they are having the time of their lives, tagging like 3 girls/day and basically spending money. I join them in some activities but i honestly dont care about those girls they're taggin.

The fact that you wanted to do this girl and didnt do it because you have "high standards" is a lie.The questions proves you dont have high standards. You have ego issues you need to work on. You need to show off. You wanted to do her and didnt because you have an image to care about. One of my friends had that same problem and when he finally removed THAT mask, he became the happy guy he is now. I suggest yu do the same. Go and knock the fat click up and be happy. Remove the mask FFS!!.

EDITED TO ADD THE italic part.
