I hate these spots. On a good day against a good regular I think I check to him hoping for a check behind, The problem arises if he bets turn, in which case I would lean towards a fold, at least against a decent regular I had hands on.

This feels weak as hell but I'd be prepared to let this one go against a decent opponent who does not seem to out of line. Turn sucks and I would be a bit worried about 78, 9T (or even a tricky overpair). I also think he would check behind with 77,88 here hoping for his str8 to complete. If he bets turn I think he has you beat often here and fold/crai would be your only options - I'd rather fold

Obviously if he checks turn behind I'm prepared to bet a blank river.

Yeah the T is an absolutely horrible card for you, looks like he just turned you.
