I played another session for a short time and won another couple of dollars.

I had two interesting hands.

In the first I got quad eights on the turn against two flush draws that also got there on the turn. Both the turn and river were capped. I had against and with a board of . I was one of the best situations possible.

Then a few hands later I had against . The flop was . I flopped top pair and my opponent flopped the nut flush. But he decided to slow play it on both the turn and the river. I bet the flop and my opponent only called. The turn was the giving me two pair. I bet the turn and my opponent only called again. The river was one of my gin cards the . Now my opponent who is behind in the hand decides to raise me twice. My opponent played the hand really badly, slowplaying the nut flush and raising only when he was hopelessly behind.

At the end I won my last two pots with such powerhouse /sarcasm/ hands as in the big blind and in a failed steal attempt. In the first hand I made a flush on the turn using the and won because I guess nobody else had a spade. In the second hand I made a straight on the river using the . What a game.

I also had AA which miraculously held up to win.

I was actually down a couple of dollars and then I went on a mini-rush at the end. Of the last 19 hands that were dealt to me I voluntarily put money into the pot in 8 of them and won 7 of the 8 hands.

The 8 hands that I played went as follows:

1. KK. Flopped a set and got a full house on the turn.. Opponents folded on the turn.

2. AK. Flopped a king. The pair of kings held to win.

3. AK. Flopped an ace. The pair of aces held.

4. AT. Nothing flopped for me and I folded. The was the only hand of the eight that I lost.

5. A5. Flopped a five. I bet on the flop and they folded.

6. 6c 4c. I bluffed with a gutshot draw on the flop and they folded.

7. Qh Jh. I made a flush on the turn and won.

8. QJ offsuit. I made a straight on the turn and won.

There is nothing like being lucky.

Played another session and won another dollar.

I made a couple to flush draws to go up early, but then I ran into bad luck.

I had AA against 66 and lost to a set of sixes. Fortunately I was able to lay the hand down on the turn to heavy pressure. That's unusual for me, usually I can't lay pocket aces down.

Then I had JJ against 88 and lost to another set. This time I couldn't lay the hand down (I had an overpair to the board) and lost the maximum.

I was able to make a comeback when I had Ah 9h and the flop came A99. Fortunately for me my opponent had an ace and kept raising even though he was drawing dead.

I won another dollar today. It was a frustrating day. I had many good draws that wouldn't come through. And I had many high pocket pairs that got busted. For example I had QQ twice and an ace flopped both times and I had to fold. I was up and down a little many times and just couldn't get a sustained good run going. Finally, at the end I was able to win a few small pots for the small win.
