Wow. Talk about variance. I played for 7:30 hours today and had the most insane swings. My first session I started down $800 in an hour. An hour!

I lost AJ vs QJ. I 3 bet pushed on a jack high flop. He called and hit the 3 out queen on the river for a $400 pot.

AA vs 88 vs JJ. 88 CRAI in a protected pot on a flop of 945 and spikes and 8 on the turn for $500.

I flop a flush draw with 89 OOP after I raised into the BB. I bet the flop he calls. Turn brings me my flush and his top pair KJ. I bet, he raises me, I push. He calls with the and spikes the 7 outer on the river for $400.

After going apeshit (and telling Briachek to STFU for saying I should take a break ) I settled down and didn't tilt. The tough hands kept coming but I finally started to make some headway. Here was an interesting hand with a ton of history:

Opponent with $300 limps. I raise to $8 on the button with [Th]

I'm not going to go into it but there was a ton of history leading up to that hand and it was totally opponent specific. But.... YAY!!


I ended up leaving that session up around $200.

The next session was sick too. I started down $500 in a half hour. I did make a bad bet and a bad call with Queens which added $100 to my losses. I could not hit a flop for my life. Then all of a sudden everything clicked.

I must have hit 5 sets in an hour. I raise up QQ in EP. Button min-raises. It was his first 3 bet of the session. I opt to call. I flop a Q, $600 pot later he shows KK and my top set holds!

There were a bunch of hands more but really all it came down to was me running so freaking hot. I played until the tables broke which was about 4:30am.

Month is looking great so far! I still need to add more tables or I can't hope to hold this winrate. It feels good to win again!

I'm running super hot! Completely forgot what this felt like. It's awesome to win again and have some hope for my future in poker. I played two sessions for a total of 7:30 hours. I added in a 4th table but it kept breaking up. I seem to be able to handle 4 pretty easily.

Good streak continues! Only got in 3 hours today as I woke up mentally exhausted. I went out to the pool, started up a nice tan, and felt like I was on vacation for an hour. Saw the new Bourne movie (quite decent) and had awesome sex to boot!

So after all that I put in 3 hours for a $400 profit.

He leads $17. I raise to $55. He pushes. I say damn't. Well... maybe he has the or a set of 5's. I actually think this is a clear fold considering he's tight passive. He would never repush the .. possibly not even 55. Still I couldn't lay it down. He had [8c] for the straight flush.

I think about this one for a while. I have no history as I just sat down, but where I'm playing I have to assume he's a fish. His big quick call means either a monster hand or a monster draw. I'm losing to both those hands. Still, I cant get my aggressive side to stop. I push and he instacalls with 66. I miss the river.

9T just got there too. I check. He has about $150 left I have him covered. He instapushes. I almost almost folded this. But.. the way he instacalled flop... just doesn't make sense for a set. He also instapushed which usually means hes trying to look strong. Still.. I'm unsure as to his holdings. I think the pot is big enough against his range. I call and just pray I'm not drawing dead.

He flips over [Jc] and misses. This is why you shouldn't instacall with flush draws.... It made me call him when I initially thought he would have a pocket pair/set.
