Here's my day (5.5hrs of poker)

PLO8

I raise some limpers with AA38s, guy behind me re-raises and the next cold calls the raise and reraise. Back to me and I pot it, so 80bb preflop. Both call and we get the rest in on the flop which is JJ2
reraiser had 5789s
coldcaller has 234J all clubs and scoops a huge pot

I have A5JJ. On the turn the board reads 247J so I have top set (current nuts) and the 2:nd nut low. We get it all-in. River is an Ace and opponent scoops with 235Q.

Hold'em

I raise to $3 with AJs, BB calls. Flop is A32 with two spades, he checks, I bet $7, he miniraises me, I push. He instacalls with Kxs for the flush draw. Turn K, river K.

I get all-in 3-way against two muppets. I have A9s, they have KTo and JQo respectively. QJ hits a jack and wins.

In fact, I was all-in THREE times today preflop against QJ and won ZERO.

I call a raise with 66 and flop comes 36J. He bets, I raise, he re-raises I call. Turn is an Ace and we get the rest in, he has AA of course. In fact, when he bets the turn I say "congratulations" before I call because I had a feeling he just sucked out.

I raise out of the BB with AK, UTG calls with 84o and of course hits trip 4's against my Ace.

And my ABSOLUTE favorite.... this one was just too freaking good.

Poster in CO and I raise [7d][4d] on the button to $4. BB and poster calls.

Flop comes [6h][5d][8d]

Amazing! I flop a made straight, a flush draw AND a straightflush draw. That's not all, the poster leads into me for $7. I decide to get cute and miniraise him, he re-raises me. I push, he calls.

He has J7o. Turn is a 9, river is a brick. Seriously.

Those 5.5 hours were done in two sittings. Both start out exactly the same. I get coolered for $500 and spend the rest of the session clawing my way back to even by my fingernails. Second time I didn't make it so today ended with a loss of ~$200. Every session the last weeks start the same. Not feeling the love at the moment.

Played a live game for small money yesterday. Buyini was $40 and BB was $0.40. Saw some of the absolutely worst plays I have ever seen. Actually, one is simply THE worst.

First of all, I only made one buyin over 4 horus. Which is pathetic. I started out by donating a full buyin with two bluffs. One I got called down by 44 on a A57J6 board (yes, he's the one who made THE play later) after I re-raised preflop with KJo and bet the flop and river.

Second time I raise on the button with 97s, flopped a flush draw, bet it, got called by SB. Turned a gutshot as well, took a free card, bet the missed river and got check/raised.

Ok, now to the entertainment...

Blinds have been raised to $1 to "make things happen" (yeah there had only been like 3 all-ins in the first hour).

The preflop War

Loose aggressive player with over $100 opens to $5 UTG+1 (I folded UTG). The player after him re-raises to $15, my read on him is that he is kind of tight and passive. Never seen him raise without at least top pair and the only time I've seen him bet big was when he had the nuts. Due to getting paid off big when he had the nuts he now has almost $100.

Folded back to the LAG who tanks for a while and then re-raises to $35. Tighty tanks for a long time and finally announces all-in. LAG snap calls with 99, tighty has AQo. Whut..? I was thinking JJ vs AK or summthing... guy on my right said AQ vs 88 so he was pretty dead on. 99 holds.

And now to The worst play ever... this took place before the above hand.

Unraised pot and flop comes A44 with a club draw. BB checks, UTG leads for $6 into the $5 pot, Moron calls and now it is back to the lag who makes a huge raise. UTG folds but Moron tanks and tanks and tanks... and finally calls all-in. Lag shows 45 for trips and Moron shows....

[Ks][Jc]

And says (of course) "I thought you were bluffing". 45 holds.
