I don't know about my play here but i like being on 2 draws with a pair and will play it fast pretty much everytime I'm in the situation.

What do you guys think.

I like the attacking style, but I would either check behind or push all-in on the turn. I think he may have read your turn play to be the semi-bluff that it was. Glad it worked out for you.

i would have raised more on the flop here. with top pair, the flush draw and the gutshot you're going to be the favorite to win over a variety of hands. Still, you're not really likely to have the best hand. I think raising to 20ish would be a better play. the big reason is because while you're likely to be a favorite (or possibly even money against a set) on the flop, you aren't qutie so much on the turn.

Aside from all that, i like your play. you were agressive with a big draw, and were able to catch up. it was $25 more to you on the turn to win a $100+ pot. that's an easy call.

I agree with what has been said thus far, and will go further to say min-raises are almost never the right play, and certainly not without the mortal nuts. You have to ask yourself why you raised there. Was it to take the pot down? A min raise will never do that. Was it to build the pot? Then make it $25 or something. Your min raise essentially commits you to call another bet if you miss your draw.

For what its worth I think he had an overpair.
