I love Florida. I have relatives who have lived there for 10 years and only left their house due to hurricane once. Ive had to batten down the hatches many more times than that right here in Texas due to tornadoes. When Im retired, if a hurricane is getting close, I'll go to Vegas for the week.

Also, I plan to rent during retirement so I have flexibility to do this:

Rent a house for 2 years
When lease is up, go to Europe for 3 months.
Come back and rent for a year or 2
When lease is up, travel US for 3-4 months
Come back and rent a house for year or 2.....

you get the idea.....so if a hurricane demolishes the house while Im stacking some tourist donk in Vegas..I dont give a shit.

And I assume the dealers will get better at dealing NL sometime in the next 7 years?

Sounds like a sweet plan, congrats! I love Florida. I didn't realize they are allowing larger games, I thought they just loosened up the stakes a little. I'll bet the games are sweet as hell right now. Everone and there grandma is gonna take a grand or 2 to the casino to play poker wihtout having a clue lol

Live no limit is so awsome, you can use all your skills developed online (math, betting patterns, etc) PLUS get reads on people live.
If you want to improve, be content to be thought foolish and stupid.

Isn't Florida supposed to be full of old people and violent criminals?

When I play a patient and relaxed game I win - that simple.

Because of Seinfeld, duh.
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.
