I heard this terrible news today. I don't watch it anymore but was a big wrestling fan a few years back, esp. when I was a student. Chris Benoit was always one of my favourite wrestlers to watch, a really solid technical guy who worked a lot of great matches over the years. From my (very) limited knowledge of him, I'd always had him pegged as one of the more "normal" guys in a crazy industry full of kooks. And now this....

isn't wrestling rigged and has nothing to do with any kind of true fight? it's just a show, isn't it? i was never a fan but I liked the time when there was this Undertaker and those two money "brothers" and stuff..

This news was so earth shattering it even brought Vince McM back from the dead. I saw the beginning of RAW last night and they were talking about what a great guy Chris was. I had never heard of him before but was pretty surprised today when I learned it was a murder suicide. It is appears he killed his wife, then maybe a day later killed his son, then a day or so later hung himself.

I find it interesting that I keep hearing positive remarks about him in the media. The guy killed his wife and son. If he didn't kill himself as well I doubt everyone would be so forgiving.
