Someone said if the guiy to my right is that good, he wont stack off if the board pairs.

Are you telling me that if you were him and called the flop all in with something like [Qs]

[9s] and then I called behind him, the board pairs on the turn, your going to check / fold with a $850ish pot? No freaking way.

Who says I cant have [As]

[Ad] or something like that?

Would you bet AA or AK with the As if it was checked to you on the turn when the board pairs?

I don't think there's a "right" way to play it. But I do think folding is a wrong way. The All In is not what would worry me, it's the good player with $2600 behind. Hopefully he's been paying attention and knows YOU are not the four legged variety and will also slow down.

definite time for the Tums there (I was in a similar spot last week I got stacked on it but was not nearly as deep). High variance spot.

I posted this hand this way to see if anyone knew what the heck the correct play is. I sure dont and it doesnt seem that anyone is all that sure.

In the actual hand, the british guy folded preflop. I instacalled the CRAI and the guy had flopped a baby flush. Turn gives me quads and the discussion between me and the Brit ensues when he tells me he folded [Qs]

[8s].

Neither of us was sure what we wouldve done had he been in the hand.
