Im here in Vegas. Against MVPs better judgement, I started at MGM.

UTG has been raising more than should be normal for about 30 mins but hesa shown down good hands every time. Hes raised to $20 or $25 each time. This hand he raises to $15. The cutoff, pretty tight british guy calls.

I reraise to $100 with [5c] on the button. Its folds back to the cutoff who calls.

Pot $225. Flop [Td][4s]. He checks to me. He has about $300. I bet $100 and he folds. I show.

30 mins later....

The tightish british guy open to $25. I make to $100 with [Kh]. Briish guy calls and we're heads up. This might be the 1st hand hes raised preflop in an hour or so.

Pot $205. Flop [Qh][6d]. He checks and has $350 behind. I cover. What do I do?

$100? Maybe that's too obvious and I'm missing something.

A check would be good normally. With your image and his stack depth I think I would just bet 1/2 pot to entice a shove.

I dont know what the hell I was thinking here. I really screwed this up.

Basically I played it like I might normally play the hand instead of playing like I should have after setting the guy up.

I was afraid of a flop check raise which is stupid considering that I set him up earlier for this play and also, since he was hardly raising at all, I was pretty sure he had a pocket pair. AQ is possible but I shouldve just gotten that out of my mind.

I checked the flop behind.

Turn was the [2]....and let me correct the flop. It was [Qh][6s]. I have the .

He checked again and for whatever reason I checked behind again.
River was some brick. He checked and I bet $150. He instacalled with [Jd].

No doubt in my mind I left $150 on the table in this one.
