i raise [Ad]

[Qd] in CO...Button 3-bets. he's like 25/18 or so and pretty aggro. i call. $250 effective stacks.

flop: [Qs]

[9d][7c]
pot: $55

check, he bets $36. i call.

turn: [3s]

pot: $127

check/check

river: [7h]

check, he thinks for about 6 seconds and bets $108.

thoughts?

Call river.

I would fold AQ preflop there as my standard line but by the tone of your post I thought this was just one of the cases where you decided to call.

No way is he checking behind on that turn with KK and no way is he betting JJ there....maybe TT if he turned it into a bluff i guess. Maybe AK..but im thinking more like a missed straight draw or a 78 type hand.

river is an insta-call. Its a bluff or AA/KK or 7x but a bluff enough to call.

I dont have as big of a problem with the PF call as others.

AQ OOP should be mucked unless villain is going crazy with 3-bets.

Honestly, this looks like a fold at first glance. You have a bluff catcher, that's it. However, since you played it so passively, he may be bluffing here with JT, AK/AJ,etc. He could very well have another AQ though, or KQ.

Meh...so marginal. I'd probably call because I'm a station.

This is why you should fold this preflop most of the time, you hit TPTK and you don't know what to do.
