Ive started playing this more than NLH at the moment as Im finding it very easy to get paid off when you have the nuts.

Table is relatively loose id been playing tight i dont have any figures as i havent bought PTO yet. I have a couple of bucks short of a full stack and villan covers me. I cant remember the amounts as i havent the HH

Im OTB with and raise the pot get 3 callers.

flop checked around to me I pot and get 1 caller (probably flush draw)

Turn checked to me again. I pot again and he calls

river he pots putting me in its about $15 to me for a very sizable pot. about $70-80ish

You have to call this; if it was a full pot bet from a very straightforward player you could fold, but he only needs to have a busted draw or just an A one in six times or so.
Also, if you start folding these you'll get run over.

I'm not happy about it but I'd most likely call here. Although I have to check but I believe a few similar situations like this have been hurting me.

As a side note FWIW I think your analysis as opposed to playing NL is on the money. At least at the lower levels I think if you compared the quality of the players between NL and PLO I think PLO is considerably more lucrative... Although I'm still schooling with quite a few other fish myself at the moment .

Would you have played the hand any differently?

Ive only been playing this for a few weeks and have noticed hardly any one raises anything other than AAxx. With that in mind do you think his play was very bad calling pot sized bet on flop and turn with an ace on board.

knowing his holding would you still call someone down in a raised pot with top 2 on this flop?

I know personally i would not have played his hand the way he did. i would have folded it on the flop maybe, and definately on the turn. Would I therefore be playing too tight.
