Why do they hate you?

They hate us because we try to impose our way of life on them, in flat contradiction of the values our super-terrific nation was supposedly founded upon. Well, that, and because people tell them to hate us for that reason.
l have no sympathy for the ambigious "them". We kill them in the name of freedom, they kill us in the name of religion. Big fuckin difference.
In conclusion, the world is filled with moronic assholes who can't think for themselves. We'll all kill each other eventually. So it goes.
The bright side of human extinction is that right and left wingers will have nothing left to argue about.
