Well said. Why isnt everyone making an equal (or larger) stink about what Mike Lowell did to Robbie Cano at Second? Now that was uncalled for IMO.

Everything I've heard has been sports guys talking it up, not in a directly moany way, but in a kind of offhand "that's not how we play baseball" sort of way. I've not heard anyone say, "fair play, nice work, it helped score a couple of runs and maybe Glaus needs to learn how to field a routine popup and figure out where he is in relation to his teammates". I don't think ManRod needs the sympathy but I just thought it was wierd that everyone seems to have made something out of nothing here. I thought it was a good "play" and quite funny.

Glaus is a dickbasket too ("I'm not paid to walk".... Yeah, and you're not paid to hit .260 and 80 RBIs either but that seems to be the line you're on....).

A-rod thinks when he is out on the field, trying to find every way to get his team more runs and win the game. I think what he did was clever. "Spirit of the game" is always something that cracks me up...if today's player's followed along in the spirit of the game following examples from the past, there would be way more cheating going on than there is right now.

What Lowell did to Cano in that running play to break up the DP was just as understandable as what A-rod did. Same thing goes for the hard slide Crede put on Jeter today at 2nd even though the ball had already traveled to left field. Messing around with infielders and catchers should be completely acceptable as long as the baserunners are in the baseline and aren't breaking the rules.

Moral:

Anything ballplayers do to help the team win is acceptable, unless you're AJ Pierzynski in which case you're just a giant douche.

Not only does Bonds look totally different than he used to. His already good number went thru the roof at the same time. Also, there was plenty of evidence and testimony from witnesses that he was taking steroids.

What evidence is there (other than rumors) that Armstrong was on them? He looks exactly the same and not one person has reported seeing him take them. Its all rumors because of his seemingly inhuman performance.

Clemons' name has come up in several investigations so him taking them wouldnt surprise me at all.

I guess Armstrong wouldnt surpriuse me either, but thats like saying Michael Jordan was taking steroids just because he was the best that ever played and did things we cant explain. There was no evidence at all that Jordan was taking steroids and I havent heard any credible evidence about Armstrong either.
