Agreed. But i still feel the need to develop somewhat of a taste in beer. I mean, ive grown up on all the light beers...bud light, miller light, naty, bud, coors light, keystone. Besides those i might of tried like 5 other kinds in my life so far...which saddens me indeed.
Of course my friends have no taste in beer either so i wouldnt have much use for the knowledge i would gain....meh

Actually, back in medieval times, it was beer that was considered more refined than wine...it's just that wine is considered more refined these days, though there's no basis for that prejudice. Beer can be equally complex as wine.

Ozujsko pivo
Karlovacko pivo
Velebitsko pivo (very rare but probably the best in Croatia) ... (pivo means beer)
