My image is probably pretty aggressive. I've picked up a lot of small/medium pots with bets and raises.

I'm dealt [Ks] in the CO, UTG limps and I raise to $4. Button (villain), SB and the limper call. I've got a $230 stack and main villain has me covered. Main villain seems a bit laggy and I *think* he check/raised a draw earlier. No read on the others.

Flop comes

Checked to me.

I bet $12 into the $16 pot. Main villain miniraises to $24

I call.

Turn is the , putting a (unlikely) straight out.

I check. He checks behind.

River is the . I check, he bets $38. I call.


Preflop is obviously standard, as is the flop bet (imo), but after that I am interested in feedback.

Looks like Villain min-raise on a flush draw. The check behind by the villain confirms it.

I beat , which is what he had. When he checks behind on the turn I am very confident that he has the flush draw, so I can play the river perfectly by check/calling.

His miniraise on the flop DID buy him a free card though. He has like 35% equity on the flop and invested only 30% to get to the showdown, so if he just checks behind on the river when he misses he will make money with that miniraise.

Fortunately he decided to bluff at it on the river instead of the turn.

There are some poker rules that are specific to Scandinavia:

A flush draw = the nuts. An oesd = the second nuts. Both these hands are however vulnerable to be out drawn by hands such as TPTK, two pairs or sets, so play them aggressively. Preferably you should be all in on the flop to protect your hand.

If you bust out, you must bluff at the pot or turn in your poker liscense.

A check/raise is always a bluff, so you should call them even if you don't have anything.
