I like the show, but I think most of the questions you guys are raising are the result of the writers making it up as they go. Half the time i dont think they remember what they already wrote about (similar to someone constantly lying and forgetting what lies they already told).

Didnt the "others" let Walt and his dad go? They gave them a boat and released them didnt they? That clearly wasnt Walt. Maybe Locke was hallucinating? Which is apparently how the writers explain every situation that doesnt add up.
