JJ vs. scary board (25 NL 6 max)

Postby ChaseThis » Thu May 03, 2007 3:38 am

After a shit April, I decided I'd start posting some hands on here for advice. I'm also new to 6-max...

I took a long time before calling the river raise. I'm new to the table, so no info on villain. With the flush draw out, if he has 44, I would have thought he'd raise the turn. Screwy way to have played a set if he flopped one with the draws there. I put him on f/draw, so bet the turn. Would a check be better there to see what he does? Anyway...I called b/c I thought he missed and thought the bet was a little big if he got there w/78.

[quote="Dumb Snowman"That'll make this much easier cause honestly, I'd raise your ass on the river with a busted draw just cause you're betting like a vagina.[/quote]

You were right, more or less. He was just floating, and he did exactly as you would have.
