Raising for infromation in NL

Postby RedBarracuda » Mon Apr 30, 2007 6:26 pm

I have read a lot of hand postings where there was contradictory advice given in respect of "raising for info"...
Some say: "Raise for info!!!" ... Some say: "It's WAAAY overrated!!!"

So, I decided (hopefully this will mean something) to create this topic for all the BTP posters to write and hopefully explain why is raising for info (no)good.. Maybe something gut and useful comes out of this (I sincerely hope so)...

examples would be just precious...

Betting or raising to find out where you stand? Make better reads. Throwing away chips more often than not.

My advice for micro stakes is forget about raising for information since there are so many donks that will call with nothing anyhow.
