Grinding 200nl 5max. Experimenting.

I really like effective stacks at 150BB to 200BB. 250 BB and deeper I don't have enough experience with.

I was just curious to see if anyone would prefer the $200 over the $300.

The Red Rock is a $200 game. The V is $300. RR is a more difficult game because of this. Both are generally passive games. There's more room for maneuver in the bigger buy in game. Many buy in for $100, and with more spread, you have more play. The larger spread favors the better players.

No max buy in is scary and I wouldn't want to be in some of them under most circumstances. I may never have the bottomless bankroll it would take to be all that comfortable. No matter how good you are, there is a train wreck in your future. To survive, you need a rather large cushion. I'd rather buy in for the min, build a nice stack, and cash out with a decent profit. Harder to do than to say.
