@beavis
hehe yes it's hard to figure informations out of this poll especially since it doesn't differentiate between kurd sunni and shiite or am I wrong?
concerning your question: I think it's a psychological thing
there were 4 possible answers on Q25 about support/oppose
++ support
+ support
+ oppose
++ oppose

no neutral option.
Such polls aren't as easily created as one may think. The question reads:
Do you [support/oppose] the presence of Coalition forces in Iraq?
most people didn't choose to support your presence because it wasn't connected to a timeframe - overall they want you to leave somewhen (i guess).

@excession
The thing about the podcast is cool - do you have a direct link?
If it's as informative as the [transleted] 'mirror of time' we get here from radio it surely is great (though that one is shorter). Often you get informations from there you always missed to find out from television or newspapers, really background informations and I can only propose to listen to it only once to find out how it is.

@rhound50
I somehow missed to read your posting concerning how american and european see war at the bottom of page 6. I think it's a good point I somehow disavowed - I'm thinking americans are as clever as everybody else, but to make em understand certain things seems impossible (as to everyone else in same situation - i'm not saying bad americans here). Whether it's war or pollution control. For pollution control the lesson was learned as they were personally hit - remembers me of a young cat which needs to be put with her nose in her piss to realize that this is bad what she's done. No offense guys - don't take that picture too serious - I really think that i'd probably think the same if I'd have grown in the us. The fact that 200'000 vietnam veterans committed suicide or something which lead to death - i'd probably just sweep away that fact because I can't imagine how bad and criminal things had to be in the war that they ended their lives.

I think the wrong people are becoming soldiers or the war (losing friends...) makes them to animals.
(war videos, don't watch if you're younger than 21)

Half the population actually approve of attacks on their liberators, and three quárters want them to leave. Ungrateful bastards.

MIC

Military Industrial Complex. The government is run by big business owners. Wars make for good business. Hailbuton/Chaney no coincidence.

Two very interesting movies to watch
"WHY We Fight" another I like is "America- Freedom to facism" This last one is regarding your taxes and how there is actually no Federal law stating you have to pay income tax. Just the strong arm of the IRS.

You know I often think back to 911 and think how they flew binladin's family members out of the country the next two days. The only planes in the air that day. Excuse was there was fear they would be killed or threatened. ( i think this was the excuse not sure) Are you kidding me. The US gov should have had them in Guiantonimo Bay (bad spelling) You are direct blood family members to the biggest terrorist in the world who just knocked down the twin towers and you don't think hey, lets just keep them a while and maybe ahhhhhh question them. TO START!!! They have all these other terrorists there sitting there without trial (by by constitution) but you don't bother with his brothers.

When I think of this I just get baffelled.

Wow the constitution got changed twice. I don't think so. Constitution 16 amendment says there is no mandatory income tax. It's voluntary compliance. Just watch the movie then discuss some more.

lol, thats exactly what the IRS says. Strong arm people. There is no Federal law that says you must pay income tax. That is the point here. People are going to jail from not paying Federal tax but there is no law requiring them. Freedom before 1913 fascism after.
