I see a guy sitting at the 5/10 HU with $455. Short stacks almost always stink and are passive so I sit down. After about 3 hands he tops off to $1000 but I decide to play a few hands,

Why does the shove have to be meant to fold out better hands?

If I think I have the best hand then the shove is for value.
If I have the best hand and best draw, then its for value.

Nobody folds an overpair HU , so there will almost never be a better hand that folds since I have TPTK.

If you flat call the $330 and the river is the , do you call his inevitable all in? What if its the ? I would think that it would be impossble to fold no matter what the riover card is so why not push now? The downside is that he might fold QJ, but the upside is that he will call with the hand that he called with when he mightve given up on the river if he missed.

I think my play was correct, but Im not 100% sure which is why I posted it. I think in a HU game its probably pretty standard because people WILL cal with nothing but a flush draw or even things like AT alot of times.
