Just wanted to share this gem. Pretty much sums up my weekend. after about 1500 hands down 4 buy ins at the Party $50 tables.

I don't think there is any way out of this one. Maybe I shouldn't have called the pre flop raise but with that many people in I think I had great implied odds. Really thought I was against an overpair of maybe an AQ.

This isn't a quads story, but I'm steaming something fierce after it happened.

$200NL $1/$2 Blinds on UB.

I pick up 10[h]-10[c] in UTG+2. UTG limps, UTG+1 limps, so I decide to limp. A MP player limps, and then it folds to the BB, who checks.

I was going nuts here with all the action before it even got to me! Nonetheless the board is HIGHLY coordinated and people have shown that they really like their hands so I'm pushing this HARD. BB and UTG have around $80 left, and UTG+1 has me covered (I'm at nearly a full buyin). I make it $100 to go. It is a huge raise but I figured that I could still get action from a lesser hand and some crappy player with a draw would call without odds anyways. The MP player mucked and the BB folded. UTG+1 called off his stack and UTG+1 comes over the top to put me all in! I insta-call. UTG+1 shows A[d]-8[d] and then UTG+1 shows K[c]-K[s]. Great, I'm drawing to 1 out. Who the hell limps in UTG+1 with K-K after somebody limped UTG?!?! The board runs Q[d]4[d] so UTG triples up and while I'm sitting over here in bustville using all my willpower not to steam up the chatbox with how shitty I think UTG+1 played his hand and he has the nerve to make some whiney comment about how he lost $1 on the hand. Really I don't see how Mr Pair and Flush draw thinks he's winning (or getting the right odds--he had 2.5-1 at best when he called off his stack) after the way the action went either, but maybe it was more deceptive than I thought to make that huge raise.

I don't understand why you are so mad. Most likely barring a crazy raise you see the flop right? then you both hit sets, and you are telling me you wouldn't lose you money anyway on this hand? I think even if he plays his KK right you lose your stack.

you both just happened to run into a crazy man who wanted to draw his flush.

but seriously if the KK raises you lose your stack, the only way you don't is if he limps-re-raises then most likely you dump on the flop.
