I agree. Suck up to them, tell them what they want to hear. That is, assuming that England can be reasonably assured that will do the trick.

Then afterwards come out publicly and tell the world that you were just playing Iran's game and don't mean a word of it. That should be embarrassing. Then explain (privately) that next time an Iranian naval ship leaves Iranian waters or makes any sort of approach to a coalition naval vessel, that it will be warned once to back off. If it ignores the warning, it will be destroyed first and questions will be asked later.

I assume the British Navy has much superior firepower to the Iranians and could back this policy up with action under most circumstances.

Bomb them back to the stone age for what i'm worth.
I'm honestly thinking about joining the army to make this world a better place and clean this earth from all those scumbags. After thinking for more than 5 seconds about that plan i do come to the conclusion that most wars are wrong and that i'm only fooling myself if i think i can make this world a better place by joining the army. I'm always heavily depressed the 15 minutes after.
Taking shots, one at a time.
