I suspect it is opening 'off-screen'.
Is "Move" one of the right-click options?
If so, select it, then without moving your mouse, use the cursor keys(arrow keys) to move the window a bit. If you still do not see it, don't click anything, and move your mouse in big circles, as it may be off to one side a whole screen width.
No Luck? Try making sure any other monitors that you are not using are uninstalled. Reboot.
Try uninstalling the current version and install an older version from
