He fired pot at the pfr with a dry board, then overbet the turn that was unlikely to help you?

This decision depends a lot on how you've been playing in your opponent's estimation. If you've been raising a lot and have shown down less than premium hands then call. If you've been pretty tight with your pre-flop raises and your opponent expects you to have a hand here then let it go.

This was a very weird line for villian to take and Im sure you'll agree it doesnt happen often.

I actually think its an instacall. Nobody plays a monster that way. I also dont think my hand is well defined as ua1176 said. I raised preflop and then just called when he led into me. Alot of people would do that with any over cards. AK / AQ/ KQ...whatever.

Stoney got it right. I was 90% sure he had TP. I called and he had [9d].

if villain is good, he's not gonna just assume that you're gonna call flop w/ overcards.

i also think this is a sweet way to play 64.

in this case...it's not that your hand isn't defined. it's that villain is too dumb to care. like i said...against bad villain....lets call here a lot.

My gut reaction was that he had a weak overpair like TT or JJ. I couldn't fold here I don't think.... not without a read, if he has a monster then I'm making a note and reloading.
