$1/$2 NL at Prima

Very good player limps, I raise to $10 with [As]. An unknown calls, everyone else folds including the good player. We're heads up

Pot is $25. The flop comes [8c][4c]. I bet $25 and he min raises me to $50.

Ive said this a million times. When you get min raised, youre almost always in trouble. In this case though I have the correct Ace.

What do you do?

unknown player, you with the case A, i'd have to pursue it further, not sure whether with an all in or call though,...how deep were you two? He could well have AQ or KK...course 88 or KJc...

There's $75 in the pot and it's $25 to call the turn. 3:1 and odds of hitting the flush on the turn are, well, not quite that good but pretty close, and with implied odds you're in good shape. So I call and then check to him on the turn no matter what hits -- check-raise any club, probably.

Some minraises are trying to see a free card to the river. He could well have bare. But I bet he's on [Jc]. If that's right, though, you only have 7 outs to win, or about 1 in 6.5 to catch on the turn. Yuck.

If he has a set, he's a complete moron to let you draw to the possible flush so cheaply. But he might be that moron. He's an unknown, so you don't know.

Tough one no doubt...i call also and as fast as i could, min bet the turn...to put HIM to a tough decision while possibly getting a free showdown after the river and also to show some aggression...

True the min raise is usually danger, but you have a very very good hand and the nut draw. He might be min raising with AQ or perhaps KK with the .

If he has a set you stil have 9 outs for two cards. I don't think he's flopped a flush.

I'm getting very aggressive lately.

I reraised him all in. He called with a set of Queens ( I told you the min raise is always a bad sign). I did hit the flush though.

People will say this is weak tight, but if he min raises me on that flop and theres not 3 clubs out there, Im folding. Its so obvious he might as well flip his cards up.

I would say its a set 9 times out of 10 or even more than that, so to continue with the hand is -EV.

And Kenny..I had 11 outs..dont forget the other 2 aces.
