Do the Euro cops not have any backup?

I mean Jesus, in LA they would have had 87 gazillion cop cars involved in this chase! Seems in Europe it's 1 on 1, speeder vs cop in a SUV and any halfway decent motorcycle rider with a fast bike is gonna win that battle almost every time.
