No matter what number you choose...you're gonna get a factor of 9.

Each factor of 9 has the same symbol.

If you notice, the symbols next to the numbers chance each time you try it. I think when doing the math they ask you to do there are only certain numbers you can come up with and each one of those numbers is assigned to the same symbol for that particular time. I think the way it works is that you're always going to come up with a multiple of 9 (9,18,27,36, etc..) and all those symbols are the same each time. Try it without coming up with a multiple of 9. I don't think it works.

Dood, whatever number you choose you get a multiple of 9. All multiples of 9 in that chart have the same symbol (though it's randomised each time you play).
