Zodiac - a solid B+/A-. Very true to facts, not overly dramatized at all, god bless them for that even if it makes the movie somewhat flat. Made me homesick for the Bay Area.

Meh. Well, i was so utterly disappointed by a movie that i just bought that i felt the need to bump this thread. Now i am not that discriminating as far as movies go and for this reason, i generally just go buy movies that look alright on DVD (usu the 3/$25 blockbuster deal) even though i havent seenem before and that generally works out. Devils Rejects, lil miss sunshine, thank you for smoking, employee of the month, the list goes on.

So recently i bought Saw III, since the first saw was reeeallly good, the second one was algright, and id heard decent things bout third one.

MAN WAS THE THIRD ONE HORRIBLE...The premise of it was dumb, plot didnt even come close to hanging together, and the way it was put together showed that whoever made it really didnt even lift a finger to maintain an iota of credibility/consistency/anything. Even the torture scenes arent that great, and the flashbacks to shit in the first one just add to the confusion and discontinuity of the thing. Truly a godawful insult to the first one, which i thought was one of the best movies to comeout in whatever year it cameout...

ANd im also gion to see zodiac tomorrow, so if anyone saw a different movie they think is titer, please, do tell...

Wild Hogs - Made me laugh a LOT. Sure it's pretty much stupid as most of Tim Allen's movies are, but then you don't watch a movie like this with the intent of getting anything other than funny gags to laugh at right? And all the well known actors in it made it just that much better IMHO. Marissa Tomei (sp?) is beautiful as ever but doesn't have much of a part. It's worth the money to go see, even if you wait til it hits the second run theaters. I've spent lots of hard earned money to a LOT of WORSE movies than this. *cough*Alexander*cough*

Zodiac= MEH... toooo too long,.. It didnt drag that terribly for a movie that long, but still did in alot of spots...the girl i was with fell asleep, which annoyed me, and it wasn't one of those 'asleep with her mouth open' kinda sleeps, which annoyed me more obv.... ANND after like 90000 hours you never get to see the killer die in a hail of gunfire, or even findout who the killer WAS (which is why madeup stories=infinitely titer than true ones)... It wouldnt say it was BAD per se, but not that great...
