But I only carry about half a dozen balls and tees and a towel and fourteen clubs. I really like this bag. I also have a titleist sunday bag which is even lighter.
Xaston if I were you I would go get clubfitted and by a set of snake eyes cavity backs from golfsmith or something comparable. Probably would pay around 400 for the irons, good clubs are really nice to have even if you are a hack. Plus if you get clubfitted then your swing can start out better that it might. (especially since your a small person)
You could always go buy a set in a box with all the bells and whistles for like 200 bucks and then have the clubs fall apart on you after 3 rounds.
It is gonna be a minimum of 800 bucks to get started IMO.
