Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

I took my shot at playing on tour.

Played in 2 hooters tour events missed a cut, got a bottom half of the field finish in the other.

Top 10'd the Texas State Open last year.
I was a monday qualifier and had to Ace a hole on the back of the Cascades in Tyler to qualify by a shot. It was hole 14 and at the time I didn't know it would be what got me into the tourney, but I shot a 4 under 66 and got in by 1 shot.

Overall it was a huge grind to try to make it as a professional golfer. I lost my love for the game trying to do it.

When I played last tuesday it was the first time I had ever had a beer on the golf course and I really enjoyed it.

I'd love to play with anyone who's ever in the Dallas area and BK if you're ever around definantly hit me up and we'll play a match, you sound like a pretty damn good player. I used to be a pro at one of the top clubs in the area so I can get us hooked up.

Hard: I said somewhere earlier that I got into a car accident in grade 11 a few months after I was scouted by UWashington...

Xas: I don't know the details of the match...what are they?

Not at all. I didn't feel like there was a 'hole' to be filled - I'm very competitive by nature and there's always SOME outlet for that...I think my competitive nature just fits well with poker (this seems to be a trend in a lot of the top pros too...just very very competitive and poker is a game that really rewards that).
