Help me clear Tribeca Action Points

Postby oatmealforxmas » Sat Feb 24, 2007 3:32 pm

OK. So I need to clear a bunch of Tribeca Action Points. 40k in the next 4 days. I have a 900 dollar bankroll.

I tried shortstacking the higher limit FR tables and pushing mallin with JJ+ and AK but they were a bunch of friggin nits (of course, who plays FR?) and I ended up donking off 150 bucks instead. And I hardly cleared any action points. So...I dunno about this plan.

So my other idea is to play HU with someone that I know at the .10/.20 tables, and just go pretty much allin every hand, of course making it look like we are really playing. Or really do play and just work out the money at the end. I would be willing to pay somebody all the rake plus some extra compensation, whatever would be fair.

The other plan is to give Roy or UA or Zmej or Xas or Iceman or Kenny or any other badass that I trust the keys to my account and have em play 1/2 or something.

Any other ideas?

Run a zillion tables ... limp in a ton of hands ... play the ones that hit ... fold the rest. This should get you in for "contributed pots" without damaging the roll too much I think ... the ones that hit should make up for the limps. You won't get ahead ... but you'll generate GAP ... just a thought ... worth a try maybe?

(Play like a fishy pre-flop, like a poker player post-flop)

If the points = a $550 payout, and this is the only way to clear it ... it would be worth taking even a couple hundred dollar hit to the bankroll as this would still put you +EV.

Oh, and the other things is that you should play poker TO MAKE MONEY...NOT for BONUSES...if playing out a bonus is less EV than playing at a site WITHOUT bonuses, then you're doing yourself a disservice.

Yeah this is very true. But I'm kinda OCD about this bonus. I *am* looking forward to moving sites though. But this bonus is pretty big i.e. 50 percent of my bankroll, so it would be a really good thing to clear.

Always keep the eyes on the goal...win money...

I've asked the managers like 345243346 times and they all say I'm good, but I will check the forum too.

If someone can work out how many hours it would take to clear playing 4 tables of 1/2nl, I may give it a shot.

I won't be able to play for about 24 hours as i'm going to be travelling back to Aus but when I get there if there's sufficient time left it could be fun playing on Tribeca again.
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.
