Every so often the government tries to get the idea of the dollar coin to fly. And everytime it's a collosal flop. They tried the Susan B's, the Sacajawea (sp), and now this one. Which (if I were a betting man) would bet will suffer the same fate.

On a slightly funny note about carrying $. There was an entry into Daniel N's blog about him going through an airport in MIami. (Which is like the hub for drug trafficking in the US apparently). Anyway he was eiter just getting on the plane, or just got seated (I don't remember) when the feds came up to him. Apparently they wanted some explinations as to why he was toting around such large sums of cash with him. He explained he was a professional poker player, etc. Oddly enough nobody recognized him, either. Long story short, he explined the details and after a while he was free to go.
