Well you shouldn't assume from the title of one song that they espoused political anarchy. Look at the lyrics instead:

As for the Dixie Chicks...Beavis wrole.."their last record didnt sell all that well and their tour was a bust, it hurt them." They have tens of millions of dollars and more rolling in.

Their last album was the ninth larger seller in the US last year. It sold less than the previous album. They still made millions of dollars. Some tour dates were added. Some were cancelled. They made huge sums of money but not as much as before. The tour right after the country music boycott sold out and made $84 million

Their greatest album, HOME, a country-bluegrass album produced by my dear pal, Lloyd Maines, was their best ever album and will always be a classic. The boycott really hurt that album as several of the singles including Traveling Soldier and Long Time Gone were sure to be hit singles. Before this political deal came up, the Chicks sued Sony and they re-negotiated a very favorable contract.
