I'm sure this comes up a lot (I know there is a similar topic posted recently) but at the micro tables is AKs ALWAYS an all-in hand pre flop, given the chance against 1 opponent?

This is not a great example as villain was almost certainly on tilt (I had bluffed him on the river about 3 hands ago and forced him to fold with a healthy re-raise as I was sure he was weak) and according to the chat window he didnt like it much. He was the usual donkfish LAG that you find at this level:

Seat 2: BB- $2.13
Seat 3: UTG- $10.43
Seat 4: simgrim - $11.41
Seat 6: OTB- $3.54

I wouldnt say it an ALWAYS allin hand pf at the micros. There is rarely any situation in poker where there is always one way and only one way to play it.

In this situation I dont mind it all given your read on the villian. You cant just call there and hope to hit the flop so just push as you did. nh.
