Yes, but the last version had a lot of problems. This years game is bringing back a lot of what made ootp6.5 so good. If they iron out all of 2006's problems it should be a great game. I have high hopes for it, but I am waiting for the reviews this time around. Last year was a big step backwards, so I recommend 6.5 for now.

I actually bought OOTP 5. Then by the time I got re-interested in it again 2006 was out (which is the one after 6.5) I believe and I saw all the problems with it so I just decided to stick with 5, which is free now, until the next one came out. I'm more of a historic buff and usually enjoy playing out most of the games which takes a heck of a lot of time. I read 2006 was particularly bad for that, but 2007 looks very promising. I've never done one of the online leagues, but it it's not too complicated or time consuming and there are enough players maybe we could do a BTP league after the new version comes out.

I have tried online leagues before, but I prefer to start will "real life" teams and then work from there in addition to having short sim times(max 1 week at a time) which means you need 30 dedicated people. Most of the leagues I have joined have died because of people just disappearing and nothign annoys me more than not being able to finish something.

If we get something going here, let me know :)
