The older you get, the more rules they are going to try and get you to follow. You just gotta keep on livin', man. L-I-V-I-N. - Wooderson

Have you considered a second career in law enforcement?

I realize that you have seven years until retirement and that is like golden handcuffs. You would be crazy to leave for almost any job.

However, you will retire young. I am a strong believer in not working at all except for some poker, not so much that it seems like a job.

I am a rather amateurish mystery writer. Have you ever wanted to be a Homicide Detective?? You would be a good one. In Texas, there are plenty of cold cases.

Have you ever wanted to run for elected office? There are large counties in West Texas with populations of under 6000 people. You or Kowboy could move to one of these and be elected Sheriff. A poker friendly Sheriff could essentially legalize poker.

Have you ever considered private or corporate security? After 9/11, this is a huge and highly paying field.

I had a couple of uncles who were L.A. cops. I am certain you are more honest than they were. When they retired, they opened two private clubs that featured naked dancers and high quality food and decor. They became millionaires.

Ive never heard of them. If their solution to the drug problem is to legalize them all, then they are a bunch of kooks.
