Yeah I lost the passion for this job aabout 5 years out of college
some interesting numbers (5 years out of college I quit my job then came back)
when I quit
I had worked 5 years (1776 days out of 1825 possible)
I averaged 73.2 hours of work a week for that time period. AVERAGE!
I had 6 weeks where I worked 100+ hours (there are 168 hours in a week possible)
out of those six 2 I worked 110 hours
2 I worked 120 hours.
I doubled my salary twice with overtime hours
Needless to say I didn't do anything but work so yeah, I was burned out long ago.
I came back after a financial snafu but really I was ready to quit a long time ago
new job!
