it is a .357 sig ( Sig Sauer)
it is basically a .40 shell necked down to .357. You need a new barrel and that is all. It is supposed to have similar ballistics to a .357mag that has the best one short stopping power in real world shootings.
There is a .40 cor-bon round for .45 that is the same kind of thing.
