Iceman, I don't have a question, but a suggestion. Take it as you will.

I hadn't realized you'd never been to college. You said you didn't go to college because it wasn't necessary for the career you wanted. But IMO people who go to college only to further a career are missing out.

If I recall correctly from earlier posts you've written, you'll be looking for a worthwhile way to spend your time and your excess money in a few years. Let me suggest that you take the time (and spend the money) to go to college. At least take some classes. Find a good school with good teachers, and take the hardest classes you can find from the teachers with the best reputations for being tough and smart and challenging. I would suggest a classic liberal arts education: Philosophy, religion, literature, political science, economics, sociology, psychology. Higher mathematics and/or hard sciences too if you're interested (some folks are, some aren't). You are obviously crazy smart, and unlike 99% of your classmates you'll take it seriously and won't care about what grades you get. Go talk to the professors on a regular basis: argue with them about what you're reading, ask for ideas for additional readings, and so on. That's an absolutely critical part of the experience.

There's nothing in the world that is more enjoyable and worthwhile for an intellectual type guy than to let his brain run free for a while.

Maybe you've already done some of this and hated it, and I'll feel like a dork for suggesting it....

Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.
