Villain in this hand is a maniac LAG. Its hard to tell if he knows what hes doing or not. Hes winning and running over the table but at 92 / 80 I just dont believe hes a winner. Those stats are after 60 hands. He either min raises or raises to $12 every hand.

One hand he limped Q5 (very rare limp) and called my $10 raise after another caller.
BB led $16 into $30 on a Q34 flop. Villain called and I folded.
Turn 8 check /check.
River was a T. BB led out about $30 and villain min raised him. BB called and Q5 was good.

The only other time I saw him limp..he limps T5 and calls my $10 raise
Flop 763 and he check / called my $15 bet
Turn 3 ..check / check
River J....he led $23 which i called and won.

Heres the hand..

Villian min raises.. I reraise to $14 with [Qs] and he calls.

Pot $31. Flop [Jh][6d]..Check / check....I didnt want to get chreck raise bluffed.
Pot $31. Turn . He leads $12 and I raise to $32. he calls.
Pot $95. River . He leads $100.........UGH!

There was a previous hand where he min raised T8...He bet $2 on a 776 flop and I called. He bet $8 on the T turn and called my $30 raise and we checked it down and his hand was good. I had a flush draw but I dont think he saw my cards because this is Prima.

I fold the river but I *really* think you should bet the flop. If you're giving away free cards because you're afraid, the terrorists have already won.

you obviously folded.. and it is the best play.. boring hand from you.

I think the critical aspect here is that he's playing the river fairly cautiously on hands with some showdown value (Q5 with TP is just a mini-raise, T8 with TP is a check OOP). I also hadn't really registered the T8 hand.

Other than this hand, the only river bet was on a hand with absolutely no showdown value.

Anyhow, he seems to make it pretty easy to call if he has a hand of value.

If you do bet the flop at maybe $20, and he calls, then he check-calls the turn for maybe $50, you're looking at a river pot of almost $200 and at least makes the whole thing a lot more of a commitment.

I guess if you're really confident in the read, then the main issue is whether there's enough stack-depth on that scenario for him to fire $200 at it because he's behind--or more like $50 because he's ahead with at least an A and possibly the flush or straight ...
