Eating prawn sandwiches, sitting in silence during the match, leave the game with 10 mins to go... your average day as a Manc supporter

'Britannia Sachas'
er no - bit tacky to be honest.. pink neon sign last time I looked

If you are going budget then Ibis or Jury's Inn in the City Centre are fine - if you want nice central hotels then The Palace and The Midland are probably the best.

I wouldn't go to Oldham.

I am a bit old/classy for the 'Hooters' type thing but that sort of wild nightlife is to be found up and down Deansgate in the City centre. Fantasy Bar is there and is the premier lapdancing club. There are all sorts of tacky places stuffed with drunken young people up and down the Deansgate strip.

There are also about 25ooo students just south of the city centre along the Oxford Road and they have their own party places too (Like Jabez Clegg)

For great curries try Rusholme (just down the oxford rd past the main student area)

Obviously if you need any more specific info on stuff you can just PM me -cheers

Manchester has a very compact City Centre - just 10 minutes to walk across, so no hotel there has much of a location advantage on another.
