SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP1 bets $1.25, MP3 calls, CO raises to $8.35, Hero raises all-in $28.55

Preflop I thought calling the raise was OK, occasionally I might re ra-raise this but on this table and this hand I think would prefer lots of people in the pot.

On the flop I wanted to push out naked lo draws and higher flush draws...is this the right move? I figured CO must have KK for his reraise, and if I could get heads up then I would be favorite...Your thoughts please.
